THE IRISH COUNTRYWOMEN’S ASSOCIATION
The ICA is a national organisation which brings women together in fellowship and encourages appreciation of the Irish language and culture as well as personal development, education and the sharing of expertise. The ICA is the largest membership organisation of women in Ireland. Fun, Friendship and Support are at the heart of everything we do. ICA membership is open to all women from the age of 18 and a woman does not have to be Irish to join ICA.
At local, Federation and National level there are many opportunities for learning. There are also opportunities to foster your talents. The ICA is involved in many activities and in community projects, supporting charities and local causes. A Guild is shaped by the talents and outlook of its members. Each new member brings something to the Guild.
Wicklow Town is a very active Guild which meets at the De la Salle Centre on the 2nd Monday of each month from September to June. Each meeting has a talk, demonstrations or active session.
