It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Cecil in the embrace of his family. Beloved husband and best friend of Catherine and much loved Dad to Vanessa, Claire and John. Sadly missed by his siblings James and Jennifer, his dearly loved grandsons Jake and Eric, his brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces and his ‘brothers’ from work. extended family, relatives and friends.

January 30th 2024, peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, previously in the compassionate care of all the staff in Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by his devoted wife of 56 years Breda (née O’Brien) whose 1st anniversary occurred on Sunday, January 28th 2024 & their adored grandson Danny. Remembered with love by his family, daughter Margaret, son John, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Trish, grandchildren Emma, Laura, Stephi, Isabelle & Mallaidh, brother-in-law Ben, sister-in-law Sheila, extended family & friends.

Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Ashford, after which Malachy will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery, Greystones.

Stephanie Joynt, la Martre France, formerly of Ashford,

Stephanie passed away peacefully on 14th January 2024 after a long illness, in the wonderful care of the staff of Castellane Hospital.

Stephanie will be forever sadly missed by her adoring family. Her loving sons Maxime, Killian and Evan, her parents Stephen and Nancy, brothers and sisters Jacqueline, Derek, Christine, Kenneth, Alan, Gregory and Dylan, nieces and nephews, her uncle Fr Patrick Moore PP, Castlepollard, aunts and uncles Patricia, Catherine, Peggy and Sean, and their spouces and by her sisters and brothers in law, Enda, Alison, Anne, Caroline and Jonathan, extended family and friends. Stephanie’s cremation service has taken place.

A funeral Mass to celebrate her life will take place in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Ashford on Saturday, 27th January, at 11am.

Peacefully in the presence of her loving family and the caring staff of Knockrobin Hill Care Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Eddie (Ned). Sadie will be greatly missed by her devoted children Colm, Marie T, Martine, Eamonn and Tommy. She will be forever remembered with love by her daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Much loved sister of Patricia, John, Ellen, Sarah, Myles, Mary, Elizabeth, Theresa, James, Pauline, Philip, David and Clare. Rose passed away peacefully on 30th December 2023, in the tender care of the staff of Kilcoole Nursing Home. Rose will be sadly missed by her family and loving grandchildren Alicia, Sophie, Alex and Mathieux. While also remembering her late parents Sally and Billy Hayden may they be reunited in peace.
