Leo Byrne, Newbawn, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. Passed away suddenly at home on the 27th of May 2024. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen and loving father of Margaret, Alan, Leonard, Linda, Elaine, Jerome, Barry, Roy and Carol. Sadly missed by his family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters Carmel, Rose, Maura and Jean, brothers Sunny and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Bridget and Pat.

Reposing at his home (eircode A67 V125) on Thursday 30th May from 12pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday at 1.15pm to St. Mary’s Church, Barndarrig arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Rathdrum Cemetery. House private on Friday please.

Peter Doherty of Seaview Heights, Rathnew who passed away on Sunday 26th May 2024 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Christina (Chris). He will be sadly missed by his loving sons Colin and Adrian, daughters Siobhán, Alison and Audrey, sister Margaret and by his grandchildren Aoife, Niamh, Fíonán, Cathal, Liam, Cian, Caoimhe, Cadhla and Kyle, great grandchildren Kiara and Levi, extended family and friends.

Peter was a former member of the Defence Forces and served in the 32nd and 36th Battalions in the Congo and the 40th Battalion in Cyprus.

Reposing at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal from the family home on Saturday at 10.30am walking via the Community Centre to St Joseph’s Church, Rathnew arriving for funeral Mass at 11am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Mark Reilly, Kilmacanogue and Blainroe, Co. Wicklow,

24th May 2024.

Passed away peacefully, aged 52 years, after a long illness bravely fought. Mark will be sadly missed by his loving family; his beloved wife Sophie, sons Dylan, Jamie and Cole, his mother Moira, his father Brian, his dear sister Gilli, Gilli’s partner Mike, extended family, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace.

Gail Weldon (née Barry), Redcross, Co. Wicklow and formerly Firhouse, Dublin. 21st May 2024, peacefully at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Michael Kinsella of Glebemount, Wicklow Town and formerly of Kilmurray, Redcross who passed away on Monday, 13th May 2024, peacefully with family by his side at the Wicklow Hospice. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Chrissie and baby sister Pauline. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his siblings Sean, Eilish, Imelda, Christina and Siobhan, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law Leslie and Ray, extended family and friends.

Matt Whyte of The Rocky Road, Wicklow Town who passed away on Saturday 4th May 2024 peacefully with family by his side at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Lil for 58 years and much loved and loving dad of David, Mark, Paula (Humby), Matthew and Shane. Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Phyllis, grandchildren Hannah, Jenny, Emily, Hugh, Luke, Evie and Jake, extended family and friends.
