Liam passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice. Predeceased by his darling daughter Sheena, sisters Mary and Anne. Beloved husband of Raphael (Rachel), devoted father of Liam and Paul, papa of his cherished grandsons Sam and Bill, sadly missed by his sisters Finola and Margaret , brother Oliver, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Philomena Kavanagh (née Kinsella) St. Patrick’s Road, Wicklow Town, formerly Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

Philomena passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital surrounded by her family. Deeply mourned by her devoted husband Terry, and her sons and daughters David, Linda, Terence, and Emma, sisters Bernadette, Jane and Della, and by her cherished grandchildren Conor, Hollie, Cian, and Tara. Sadly missed also by her son-in-law Matt, and daughter-in-law Angela, nieces and nephews, and the extended Kavanagh and Kinsella family.

Philomena will be reposing at her family home on St. Patrick’s Road, Wicklow Town A67WC85 on this Wednesday 30th October from 2.00pm until 6.00pm.

Removal from her home on Thursday morning at 9.30am walking to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow arriving for 10.00am Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Philomena, which can also be viewed by clicking on Philomena’s Funeral Mass followed by Cremation Service at 11.30am in McCrea’s Cremation Chapel, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) for all those who wish to attend.

Denis passed away at Wicklow Hospice following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. He is sadly missed by his wife Celia, sons Paul, Andrew, Ray and Aidan, daughters-in-law Sarah and Brídín, grandchildren Laura, Liam, and partner Chelsea, Aoife, and Oisín and great-granddaughter Clodagh, his siblings Ann, Michael, Edmund and Peter and all his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his young son Justin.

Peggy (Margaret) O’Sullivan ‘Bunowen’, St. Patrick’s Road, Wicklow and formerly of Bunowen, Louisburgh, Mayo

Peggy passed away peacefully at home in the wonderful care of her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Philip in November 2022.

Deeply mourned by her sons and daughters Cathal, Siobhan, Úna, Neil and Áine and by her cherished grandchildren Paul, Rachel, Eoghan, Laura, Niamh Ciara, Aaron, Seán, Ryan and Ian, and great grandchildren, Caoimhe, Sophie and Zoe. Sadly missed also by her sons -in-law Brian, Joe and Willie, daughter-in-law Linda, nieces and nephews, the extended O’Sullivan and Scanlon family and her many friends.

Reposing at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Batchelors Walk, Wicklow Town (A67 CY63) on Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning at 9.40am walking to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow where funeral Mass will be celebrated for Peggy at 10am followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery.

Mary passed away Peacefully, aged 85 years, in the company of her loving family and friends at her home. Beloved Mother to Mark and Granny of Brian and Paul. Sadly missed by her devoted sister Tussie, her many cousins nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and nephews, her daughter-in-law Mary (Smith), Mark’s partner Max along with a great circle of friends. Survived by her siblings Ursula and John, and reunited with the late Bridget, Mairead, and Donal. The family wishes to thank the hospital staff, carers, and the entire team who looked after Mary over the last few months.

Mary will be reposing at The Deal Trees on Tuesday 22nd October from 3.00pm – 8.00pm. Removal on Wednesday evening at 4.45pm to St. Joseph’s Church, Rathnew arriving for 5.00pm. Funeral Mass Thursday at 1.00pm followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery.

Therese Haughton née Reid formerly of Crinion Park Wicklow Town who passed away in her 90th year peacefully in her sleep on Friday 18th October 2024 at Knockrobin Hill Care Home. Predeceased by her sons Ken and Colm. Lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by sons Stephen, Brian and Kieran, and daughters Sandra and Yvonne, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Victoria passed away peacefully at home in the warm embrace of her loving family aged 33.

Victoria, much loved wife and best friend of Ciarán, and devoted mother to Lily.

Lizzie Lott née Nolan of Three Mile Water and formerly Whiterock, Tinahely who passed away in her 94th year on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 surrounded by her family and in the excellent care of Knockrobin Hill Care Home. Loving wife of the late Bill and much loved and loving mother of Theresa and Helen. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Conor, Neil, Gemma and Tara, great granddaughters Lucy and Sadie, sister Breda, sons in law Myles and Dermot and by Katie, Meghan, Luke and Gary, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Bill Dickenson Castle Street Wicklow Town

Bill passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday 29th September 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Now united with his grandchild Ayla. Dearly loved husband and best friend to Mary (O’Connor) for 45 years and loving and much loved dad of Craig, Kelly, Conor and Neill. Lovingly remembered by his family, grandchildren Ryan, Sarah, Niamh, Leah, Jack, Jade, Dion and Blair-Billie and by his brothers, sister, daughters in law Yvonne, Nadine and Louise, son-in-law Chris, extended family and friends.

Bill will rest at home from 2pm until 7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. House private on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning at 9.30am walking via Market Square and Main Street to St Patrick’s Church arriving for funeral Mass at 10am followed by committal at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 1pm.

The family would like to extend their thanks to St Michael’s Hospital, Dr Kenna, Westmount Clinic, Fergal and staff of O’Dwyer’s pharmacy and the palliative care nurses for the excellent care shown to Bill.
