Noleen (Christina Mary) Nolan (née Flynn formerly Doyle) Northamptonshire England and late of New Street, Wicklow

Noleen passed away on 28th December 2024 at Northampton General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Ned Doyle (Rathnew), parents Jack and Nellie Flynn and siblings John, James, Rosaleen Earls and Evelyn Kelly.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband John, children Paul, Peter and Joanne and their spouses Anne, Jo and Rob, stepchildren Timothy, James, Patrick and Catherine and their spouses Samantha, Kay, Karen and David along with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings Patricia Ball Brendan, Eleanor O’Flaherty and Nora Kenneally, extended family and friends.

Philomena O’Dowd (née Holland) Wicklow Town.

Philomena passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on the 29th of January 2025.Beloved wife of Jim, cherished mother of Ciara, Brendan, Elaine, and John, and adored grandmother to Aimee, Sarah, Ollie, Lucie, Elana, Ethan, and Ferdia. Philomena will be deeply missed by her children’s partners Colm, Anna, Patrick and Caoimhe, as well as by her sister, brothers, extended family, dear friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, along with all the dedicated medical professionals who provided Philomena with such compassionate care and support.

Catherine Doyle of St Laurence’s Park Wicklow Town and formerly Leslie Avenue, Dalkey Co Dublin who passed away on Monday 27th January 2025 peacefully in the company of her family at the Wicklow Hospice. Forever loved by her husband Alan Cleary, daughters Anne and Rebecca, son James, siblings Elaine and Honora, mother in law Maureen, brothers in law Kevin and Shane, niece Martha, nephews Cillian and Joe, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Maureen Doyle.

Patrick (Paddy) Ronan Seafield, Wicklow Town, Formerly The Bank, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick (Paddy) on the 28th of January 2025 in his 90th year, surrounded by his loving family, and in the exceptional care of the staff at Blainroe Lodge Nursing home, Blainroe. Predeceased by his loving wife Nancy and parents William and Anne. Sadly missed by his loving children Anita, Miriam Emmet and Diane, his daughter-in-law Margaret, and sons in law, Stephen, Peter and Tom. Fondly remembered by his loving grandchildren Jason, Charlotte, Courtney, Aylish, Eric, Éanna, and Nancy and his great-grandson Lucas, his sister, Nancy and sister-in-law Noreen. Also by his Nieces, Nephews, neighbours and friends.

Thomas (Tom) Murphy of Dunbur, Wicklow Town (Sacristan St Patrick’s Church) who passed away on Saturday 18th January 2025 peacefully with family by his side at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Peacefully in the kind care of the staff at St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Beloved wife of the late Paddy, loving mother of Seamus, Padraic, Carina (Traynor), Eilis (Grumley) and Mairead. Sadly missed by her loving children, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Meave, sons-in-law Ronan and Graham, adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister Betty, brothers Sean, Eamon and Henry, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Staff at Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow.

Monica will be sadly missed by her daughter Sharon Shortall and son Alan McSweeney (Castlecomer), sisters Beth and Ella, grandchildren Nicola, Emma, Muireann and Eoghan, great grandchildren, Caoimhe, Oisin, Caoilainn and Aishling, son-in-law Maurice, daughter-in-law Marie, brothers-in-law Peter Mellor and James Conroy, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

John passed away on Monday 6th January, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin – Loving husband of Rita and much loved father of Myrtle, Helen, Tommy, Noirin, Rita, Ian, Aileen and John. Sadly missed by his son in laws, daughter in law, 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, his sister Patricia, his nieces and nephews and his extended family and friends.Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Barbara and his sister June.
