It is with immense sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of our beloved;

Victoria Leonard, née Egan, of ‘Lizbourne’, Marlton Close, Wicklow Town.

Victoria passed away peacefully at home in the warm embrace of her loving family aged 33.

Victoria, much loved wife and best friend of Ciarán, and devoted mother to Lily.

Remembered with love and great memories by her husband, daughter, her heartbroken parents; Pat and Geraldine, her devasted siblings; Rebecca, Laura and Mark, along with their partners; Ciarán, Dale and Nicky, and her adored niece and nephews; Sadie, Seán and Michael, Grandparents; Patrick and Phyl Lalor, her aunts, uncles, extended family, friends, and work colleagues of Bethlehem/ Holy Rosary National School, Wicklow Town.

Victoria will rest in Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, from 2pm until 7pm Monday 7th October. Removal on Wednesday 9th October from her home at 11:40am, at walking pace to St. Patrick’s Church, arriving for funeral Mass at 12 noon after which Victoria will be laid to rest in Rathnew cemetery.

Lizzie Lott née Nolan of Three Mile Water and formerly Whiterock, Tinahely who passed away in her 94th year on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 surrounded by her family and in the excellent care of Knockrobin Hill Care Home. Loving wife of the late Bill and much loved and loving mother of Theresa and Helen. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Conor, Neil, Gemma and Tara, great granddaughters Lucy and Sadie, sister Breda, sons in law Myles and Dermot and by Katie, Meghan, Luke and Gary, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelor’s Walk, Wicklow Town (A67 CY63) from 4pm until 6pm on Friday followed by removal to the Star of the Sea Church, Brittas Bay arriving for reception prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.30am after which Lizzie will be laid to rest in Three Mile Water Cemetery.

 

Bill Dickenson Castle Street Wicklow Town

Bill passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday 29th September 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Now united with his grandchild Ayla. Dearly loved husband and best friend to Mary (O’Connor) for 45 years and loving and much loved dad of Craig, Kelly, Conor and Neill. Lovingly remembered by his family, grandchildren Ryan, Sarah, Niamh, Leah, Jack, Jade, Dion and Blair-Billie and by his brothers, sister, daughters in law Yvonne, Nadine and Louise, son-in-law Chris, extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Bill will rest at home from 2pm until 7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. House private on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning at 9.30am walking via Market Square and Main Street to St Patrick’s Church arriving for funeral Mass at 10am followed by committal at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 1pm.

The family would like to extend their thanks to St Michael’s Hospital, Dr Kenna, Westmount Clinic, Fergal and staff of O’Dwyer’s pharmacy and the palliative care nurses for the excellent care shown to Bill.

Lorna McGovern Doran Ballykillavane, Glenealy, Co. Wicklow

Who passed away peacefully and in comfort surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of St Columcille’s Hospital Loughlinstown. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, and sisters Olive and Patricia. Cherished Mother to her daughter Nessa, loving grandmother to her three grandchildren Dylan, Trinity and Michael. Born 1941, later became an exemplary nurse, and devoted 40 years of her life to patient care in Ireland, UK and the US. Trained in Broadgreen Liverpool University Hospital before she pursued a career in New York, she worked several years in Jewish Memorial Hospital. Returned home with her daughter, worked in St Vincent’s Hospital afterwards most of her career was spent in St Columcille’s Hospital. Sadly missed by her sisters Ann Haran, Margo Collins and brother Peter McGovern and his wife Eva. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, relatives, former colleagues and friends.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in the Beacon Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Hubert and Jean. Beloved husband and best friend of Adrienne and loving Dad to Emma, Sinead and Paul. Olive was predeceased by her husband Jim, and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by children Paul, Noel, Clare and Sarah, daughters-in-law Ann-Marie and Mary, son-in-law Pakie, and grandchildren Rachel, Eva, Nathan, Hannah and Jamie, extended family, relatives and friends.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Margaret for 65 years.
