Rita McNamara (née Spelman) Greenhill Road, Wicklow Town and formerly Ballaghaderreen , Co. Roscommon, peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital Dublin. Sadly missed by her loving husband Jim, daughter Claire, sons Morgan and Michael, brothers Pat and Noel, daughters-in-law Iverna, Lale and Jill, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Daphne, Frank, Eileen, Meabh and Jane, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Rita will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67 E003) from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm Monday evening with removal Tuesday morning at 9.15 am to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town, arriving for 10.00 am Funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery. Wole (Wally) Lijadu from the Murrough, Wicklow Town and Nigeria who passed away 31st July 2019 at his home. Beloved eldest son of Yemi and Mary Otolorin Lijadu and much loved brother of Femi, Bunmi and Tayo. He will be sadly missed by his family, sisters-in-law Aima and Dapo, nephews Yemi, Koye and Olufemi and nieces Kemi, Tomi and Funmi and by his extend family and friends especially in Wicklow where Wole has lived for the last 25 years and will now become his place of rest.

Reposing at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town on Saturday 10th August from 9.30am with removal to St Patrick’s Church at walking pace at 10.40am arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery.

Noel Gallagher of Wicklow Town and formerly of Bray and the Irish Army 2nd Field Coy, Corp Engineers who passed away suddenly but peacefully in his 86th year on 2nd August 2019. Beloved husband of Mary for 61 years and much loved father of Bernadette, Geraldine, Stephen, Sally-Ann, Maurice and Karen and adored grandad of Robert, Aoife, Kate, Róisín, Eoghan, David, Noel, Martin, Saoirse, Courtney, Clióna and Heather and brother of Helen and Margaret. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends.

Noel will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 2pm until 3pm on Sunday. Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Monday morning at 10am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Richard (Dick) Carroll of Main Street, Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully in his 98th year on 15th July 2019 in the loving care of the staff of St Colman’s Hospital, Rathdrum. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie, son Richard and daughter Annette and his siblings Matt, Ger, Marie and Peggy. He will be sadly missed by his loving brother Louis, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Dick will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Batchelors Walk in Wicklow Town, on Tuesday 16th July from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral arriving to the Market Square on Wednesday morning at 9.30am and then proceeding at walking pace to St Patrick’s Church arriving at 9.50am for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Kathleen Cannon née. Mc Glone of Wicklow Town and late of Stranooden Co. Monaghan who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat, her sisters Rosie and Sr. Mary Dominic, her brothers Ned, John and Paddy and nephew Matthew. Much loved and loving mother of Roseanne, Mary and Eileen. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Gary, Karen, Jason, Kevin, Keith and Kevin, and great grandchildren, Mica, Noah, Dylan, Caitlyn, Chloe and Pearl, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Kay Quill (née Evans), Wicklow July 2nd, 2019 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff in Knockrobin Hill Care Home, Wicklow. Deeply missed by her daughters Hillary and Sián , sons-in-law, her much loved grandchildren Harry, Olwyn, Harvey and Lily, sisters-in-law, her cherished nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Special thanks to Dr.Lisa Cogan and her wonderful team in the Royal Hospital Donnybrook, for taking such good care of Kay during her illness.
