Majella Turner (née O’Neill) Killiskey, Ashford & Glenealy Co. Wicklow

Who died peacefully on Wednesday 26th June 2024 at the Beacon Hospital after a courageously fought illness. Cherished by her loving husband Deane, treasured mother of Ryan, Alanah & Sacha . Sadly missed by her Heartbroken parents Margaret & Mikie, Brother Michael, Sisters Helena & Sandra, Brother in Law Ian, Nephews & Nieces extended family, friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace.

As per Majella’s wishes she will repose at Ballydowling, Glenealy which will be strictly private for her immediate family only please.

Majella will then be reposing in McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) on this Friday evening 28th June from 6.00pm – 8.00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday 29th of June 2024 at 11.00am in The Most Holy Rosary Church Ashford followed by interment in Killoughter Cemetery.

The family would also like to give a extended thank you to all the Doctor’s and Nurses at 5 North Beacon Hospital and Majella’s home carers.

Family flowers only please, donations In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Irish Cancer Society.

Oliver (William) Byrne, Coolbeg House, Glenealy, Wicklow. Died peacefully on 14th May 2024. Beloved husband to Maura, adoring father to Conor, father-in-law to Marie and grandfather to Hugh. Much loved brother of Aileen and Jeane. Predeceased by his sisters Connie, Mary-Jo and brother Cecil. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Patricia Collier Ballinalea, Ashford, Co. Wicklow.

Beloved wife of the late Mark Collier, sadly missed by her sons George, Robert and Michael, daughter Mary, daughters-in-law and loving grandchildren Mark, Edgar, Steffan, Aaron, Aine, Aoife and Patrick, extended family, relatives and friends.Patricia will also be missed by her pet companions Arthur and Snowy.

John Behan, Blackhill, Ballykillavane, Glenealy, Co. Wicklow and formerly Donnybrook, Dublin. April 26th 2024, suddenly at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Linda (O’Gorman), loving father of Jan, Alex, Natasja, Caiden and Saoirse and grandfather of Teigan and Sienna. James (Shay) McDermott Ballinalea Ashford and formerly Newcastle

Shay passed away 18th March 2024 peacefully at St Columcille’s Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Janice, great grandson Oliver Thomas, parents Thomas and Elizabeth and siblings Morris, Billy, Tommy and Mick. Sadly missed by his children Susan, Andrew, Sherry, Sharon and Stephen, grandchildren David, Michaela, Ross, Adam, Katie, Matthew, Phillip, Stuart, Malcolm, Ella, Aaron and Stephen, great grandchildren Lexie, Laney, Keelan, Ollie, Lily, Éola, Charlie, Noah and Lucas and by his siblings Larry, Andy, Sean, Lawrence, Marie, Kevin, Oliver and Noel, son in law Ernie, daughter in law Teresa, extended family and friends.

Shay will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal from his home at 10.30am on Saturday morning at walking pace to the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Ashford arriving for funeral Mass at 11am followed by a private cremation.

Liam Kelly of Ballylusk Farm, Ashford and formerly Banogue, Limerick who passed away on Sunday 10th March 2024 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Geraldine, parents Daniel and Bridget and his siblings Eamon and Maura. Loving and much loved father of Rowena, Vanessa, Donal, Grace and Billy and adored grandad of Joseph, Ava, Matthew, Niamh, Daniel, Fiachra and Milo. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Noreen and Eileen, extended family especially his niece Siobhan and by his friends.

Richard J (Dick) Fitzpatrick of Ballinalea, Ashford, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, 1st February 2024.

Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Bridget, daughters Lisa and Aoife, and son Richard, daughter in law Mary, son in law Chris, nieces, nephews, the extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Malachy Loughran of Ballymanus Lower, Glenealy, Co. Wicklow, formerly Woodlands Avenue, Cabinteely, Co. Dublin & Drumquin, Co. Tyrone. January 30th 2024, peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, previously in the compassionate care of all the staff in Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by his devoted wife of 56 years Breda (née O’Brien) whose 1st anniversary occurred on Sunday, January 28th 2024 & their adored grandson Danny. Remembered with love by his family, daughter Margaret, son John, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Trish, grandchildren Emma, Laura, Stephi, Isabelle & Mallaidh, brother-in-law Ben, sister-in-law Sheila, extended family & friends.
