James (Jim) Vickers, Wicklow Town and formerly of Glenealy, Co. Wicklow. 20th December 2021, peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Anne (Nan), daughter Mary, sons Donal and Seamus, granddaughters Caoimhe and Ava, daughters-in-law Carol and Gina, brothers Johnny, Paddy and Denis, sisters May, Vera, Bernadette and Rita, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his grandson Rory.

Reposing at Brennan Woulahan Funeral Home, Avoca Road, Rathdrum on Wednesday, 22nd December, from 6pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11.30am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glenealy, walking from Ballyfree Terrace at 11am. Burial afterwards in Glenealy Cemetery.

Philomena (Phil) Clarke formerly of Kilmainham, Dublin and Newton Park, Wicklow. (Retired teacher Muckross Park College and Dominican Convent Wicklow). Friday, 17th December 2021, peacefully in the care of Kinvara Nursing Home, Bray in her 96th year. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother Fintan, sister-in-law Patricia, brother- in- law Jim Murtagh, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

June Doran (née Dargan) The Yews, Rocky Road, Wicklow.

16th December 2021, suddenly at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Sadly missed by her loving sons Ian, Darrell, Steven and daughters Gillian, Lisa, Nicola, Ciara, and their partners, Lorraine, Damien, Marian, Fergal, Gerald, Nicole, Dylan, sisters Caroline and Martina, brothers Miley & William, and the late Etta and Denis, grandchildren Dylan, Isabelle, Leah, & Issac, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Katriona Rowan (née Kavanagh) St. Laurence’s Park, Wicklow Town and Glenealy , Co. Wicklow, 16th December 2021, after a short battle with illness, which she bravely fought and surrounded by her loving family and in the loving care of the nurses and staff at Wicklow Hospice, Magheramore, Co. Wicklow. Dearly loved wife and best friend of David proud & loving mother of Josh and Fionn. Much loved daughter of Butch and Collette , sister to Lee and Warren. Liam Kavanagh of Wicklow Town and former Labour Councillor, TD, MEP and Minister who passed away in his 87th year on Monday, 13th December 2021, peacefully, after a long illness. Loving husband of Margaret and much-loved father of Rosemary and the late Conal. Sadly missed by his daughter in law Kiara, grandchildren Áine and Rían, his brother Jimmy and sister Therese, sisters-in-law May and Maura, extended family and friends.

O’BYRNE (née Lynch) Frances (Drumcondra, Dublin 9, formerly of Wicklow Town and Lorcan Crescent, Dublin 9) December 8th 2021. Peacefully after an illness bravely borne, in the loving care of her family and the staff of the Blackrock Clinic. Beloved wife of Godfrey, loving mother of Helen, Alan, Niamh and Patrick and beloved sister of Brian, John, and the late Terry and Dessie. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Edmond for 67 years and loving and much-loved mother of Marian and Elizabeth. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband and daughters and by her sister Una Power and adoring grandchildren Pauline, Laura, Noel, Amy, Joanne, Emma and Keith and great-grandchildren Chloe, Emily, Eli and Brodie, extended family and friends.
