Maeve (Julia Mary) Flannery (née Doyle) of 1 Summerhill, Wicklow who passed away 14th April 2021 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Ned and much-loved mother of Lee Corkish, Karl, Ross and Edward. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter, sons, son-in-law John Paul, daughter-in-law Amanda, grandchildren Emily and Adam, sisters Ena Hickey, Angela Davitt, and Phillippe Davis, brothers-in-law, Des and Peter, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Anno and Caroline.

Removal from the family home on Friday morning at 9.30am to St Patrick’s Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be left in the condolence section below. Please adhere to government guidelines at all times.

Michael (Mick/Dyke) Duffy of The Bank, Rathnew who passed away peacefully at his home on Friday 26th March 2021. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret, brothers Jack, George, Jim and Matt and his sisters Liz, Teresa, Cissie, Kathleen and Martha. He will be sadly missed by his loving sisters-in-law Kathleen and Mary, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 11.20am to St Joseph’s Church, Rathnew, arriving for a private family funeral service at 11.30am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Thomas (Tommy) Merrigan of Seaview Heights, Rathnew who passed away on Thursday 25th March 2021 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved son Tommy and his father Ned. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Patricia and much-loved Daddy of Martha, Anne, Ian, Kathryn and Christopher and adored grandad of Thomas, Callum, Sophie and Kayleigh. He will be remembered with love by his mother Martha, siblings Esther, Joseph, Catherine, Anne, Edward and Michael, son in law Eoin and by Geno, Nathan, Anne and Brian, extended family and friends.

James O’Connell (Jimmy) Fitzpatrick of Dunbur Park and late of Bridge Street, Wicklow Town and Fitzpatrick’s Rathnew who passed away in his 92nd year on Thursday 11th March 2021 peacefully at St Columcille’s Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Kathleen and his siblings Eileen, Dick, Phil and Betty. Sadly missed by his loving wife Frankie, sons Arthur and Liam, daughters Claire Phelan, Karen Hughes and Marianne Nicholson, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters in law Kathleen and Corina, sons in law Karl, Mario and Brendan, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends in Wicklow and Rathnew.

Sheelagh Brady of Wicklow Town and formerly of Wicklow County Council and Quill Road, Kilmacanogue, who passed away in her 97th year on Tuesday, 9th March 2021, in the loving care of Louise and the staff of The Blainroe Lodge, Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents William and Bridget and brothers Peter (Pete) and Paddy. Sadly missed by her loving nephews Peter and Michael and their spouses Mary and Dorothy, nieces Colette, Catherine and Christina, grand-nephews and nieces Gavin, Donnacha, Rebecca, Tanya and Sonya and by her cousin Sr Regina, Kieran, extended family and friends.

John Wilson MVB MRCVS (Dublin Road,Bray and Wicklow Town, formerly of Bray and Blacklion Veterinary Clinics), passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday 4th March, 2021, in the care of his loving family. Beloved husband of Betty, adored Dad of Sinéad, Susan, Seán, David, Aengus, Bairbre and Dan and brother of the late Richard, Raymond and Frano; John will be sadly missed by his wife and children, his sisters Vivienne and Christina, grandchildren, sons and daughters-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law, relatives and large circle of good friends both at home and abroad.

Pat O’Rourke (Dunbur Park, Wicklow Town) 23rd February 2021, peacefully at home in his 87th year, surrounded by his four daughters. Loving husband of the late Monica, predeceased by his parents Joe and Sarah (Cissy) and brother Aidan. Cathleen Scanlon née Doyle (Keatingstown, Wicklow Town & Formerly of Old Cabra Road Dublin 7) 20th February 2021, peacefully at St Vincent’s Hospital Dublin, predeceased by her loving husband Denis, Sadly missed by loving sons Padraig and Kevin, daughter Geraldine , daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brother Oliver, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
