Marie passed away on Wednesday 31st July 2024 peacefully at Knockrobin Hill Care Home. Predeceased by her parents John S and Mary Byrne. Remembered with love by her daughter Jennifer, granddaughter Amy, aunts Lily and Nancy, cousins, extended family and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelor’s Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Friday 2nd August. Removal on Saturday morning 3rd August at 11.30am walking to St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town arriving for funeral Mass at 12 noon after which Marie will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery.

Marie Crossan (née McWeeney) Rathnew, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Hartley, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim and Monaghan Town, Co. Monaghan.

Who passed away peacefully on the 26th of July 2024 in the excellent care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital with her beloved family by her side. Marie is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Michael, her son Paul, daughters Elaine and Louise, sons-in-law Brendan and Derek, grandchildren Michael, Ava, Alannah, Donncha and Peter, her sisters Margaret and Bernie, brothers Joe, John and Paul, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents and brother Hugh.

Patrick (Pat) Fortune May Cottage, Cullen Lane, Three Mile Water and formerly of Lakeview Grove, Wicklow Town and The Rock, Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

Pat passed peacefully on Friday 19th July 2024, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, in the loving care of the staff and his family. A beloved and loving Father, he will be sadly missed by his son Brian, daughters Sharon, Elizabeth, Tracy, Roseanne and Linda and by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother, sisters, son in law Stephen, extended family and friends and those who were privileged enough to know him.

Julia (Minnie) Lynch née Dunne of Wicklow Town and formerly Springfield, Kilbride and Arbour Hill, Dublin 7 who passed away in her 91st year peacefully at home in the presence of family. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Emily Dunne and siblings Elizabeth, Johnnie and Michael and nephew William. Lovingly remembered by her husband Tony, sister Carmel Doyle and by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Daphne Walshe Tynan (née Lumsden) of Seapoint, Wicklow Town, died 23rd June 2024, peacefully, in her 81st year, in the presence of her family and the wonderful staff of Wicklow Hospice. Predeceased by her husband Bill and daughter Melissa, dearly loved by her son St. John, daughter-in-law Pamela and grandchildren Keelin and Kester. She will be sadly missed by her husband Tony, together with his family Lorna and Paul Vallely, Tony Jnr and Joanna, grandchildren Ben and Coco and by her wide circle of friends, especially in Delgany Golf Club.

Peter Doherty of Seaview Heights, Rathnew who passed away on Sunday 26th May 2024 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Christina (Chris). He will be sadly missed by his loving sons Colin and Adrian, daughters Siobhán, Alison and Audrey, sister Margaret and by his grandchildren Aoife, Niamh, Fíonán, Cathal, Liam, Cian, Caoimhe, Cadhla and Kyle, great grandchildren Kiara and Levi, extended family and friends.

Peter was a former member of the Defence Forces and served in the 32nd and 36th Battalions in the Congo and the 40th Battalion in Cyprus.

Passed away peacefully, aged 52 years, after a long illness bravely fought. Mark will be sadly missed by his loving family; his beloved wife Sophie, sons Dylan, Jamie and Cole, his mother Moira, his father Brian, his dear sister Gilli, Gilli’s partner Mike, extended family, relatives and friends.
