A laying of Wreath of ceremony took place at the Garden of Remembrance at the Murrough Wicklow on Saturday 9th September 2023. The ceremony remembers the deceased members of the various emergency services. As part of the ceremony an interdenominational prayer service took place and was conducted by Fr Aquinas Duffy (Parish Priest Catholic Parish of Wicklow-Rathnew), Rev Roly Heaney (Church of Ireland Redcross), Fr Gerard Deegan (Catholic Curate Wicklow-Rathnew) and Rev Michael Anderson (Methodist Church Arklow).
